Indian dwarf is world’s shortest bodybuilder
An Indian athlete who is a little over one metre tall has been named the world’s shortest competitive bodybuilder by Guinness World Records.
Pratik Vitthal Mohite, 25, said he began bodybuilding in 2012, and participated in his first competitive event in 2016.
“My family are very happy and proud of me and my friends are very supportive and helpful,” he said.
Mohite was born with short arms and legs and later was diagnosed with dwarfism.
“It was my dream to achieve a Guinness World Records title, and it’s such an honor to achieve it. I’m very happy; it’s my biggest achievement in my career,” he said.
He said he now wants to break another world record: most push-ups in one minute.
