“Men play table tennis for 13 hours”
Two Swedish table tennis players have set a new record for the longest table tennis rally, lasting 13 hours, 37 minutes and 6 seconds.
The match occurred in the town of Malmö in Sweden between Emil Ohlsson and Fredrik Nilsson, known as the Spin Duo.
The duo practised for four months before attempting the record.
The duo lobbed the ball back and forth without a single break, cheered on by friends and family who celebrated with champagne at the finish.
The players didn’t stop to eat, keeping the ball in play. There were no toilet breaks, and once the duo broke the record, the first thing they did was rush to the bathroom.
