Why is a man dressing up as a giant black cat and running around the countryside?
That’s what residents in Wirral, England, are asking after seeing a man in a feline costume growling, crawling up hills, and making cat noises in the area.
Police have been called in to investigate, but so far they haven’t been able to capture the man.
In one Facebook video, the man is seen approaching a car. Another resident said the man waved his arms and climbed up a hill after he shone a flashlight in his face.
Some locals believe he is playing an elaborate prank, while others are genuinely creeped out and worried about the odd behavior.
