“Hungry? Here’s a million dollars”
A woman’s hunger earned her a million dollars.
The Michigan woman said a late-night craving led to her making a food run — and scoring a $1 million lottery jackpot in the process.
“I woke up hungry late one night, so I went out on a food run,” the woman, 53, said.
“While I was out, I bought a few lottery tickets and scratched them when I got home. It was shocking when I saw I’d won $1 million. I had a hard time going back to sleep that night!”
The winner said she is still coming to terms with the reality of the situation.
She said the prize money will go into savings for the time being.
