“Stop sitting on the road!”
In two separate incidents on the same day, a woman and a naked man stopped traffic by sitting in the middle of the road in Thailand.
The naked man was found sitting on the M6 motorway in Nakhon Ratchasima province, prompting highway police and rescue workers to intervene and move him to a safe area.
Rescue workers attempted to speak with him, but communication proved difficult.
They provided him with trousers before police escorted him off the road.
On the same day in Chonburi’s Meuang district, a woman was seen sitting in the middle of a busy road at a traffic-light intersection.
The woman appeared upset and at one point threw one of her shoes at a passing motorcyclist.
While some people treated the incidents as humorous, others expressed alarm at the dangerous behaviour.
