“World’s biggest garlic”
A British gardener has grown the world’s biggest head of garlic, weighing around 1.75 kilograms.
Gloucestershire grower Graham Barratt took his vegetables to a nursery in Berkshire, England, to be assessed on June 25.
His bulb of elephant garlic, a larger variety than a typical bulb purchased from a grocery store, tipped the scales at 1.75 kg with a diameter of 19 cm.
The pungent plant earned him the Guinness World Record for the heaviest elephant garlic.
Barratt says he doesn’t know what he is going to do with all that garlic.
