“Hospital vaccinates 30,000 in one week”
A Mumbai hospital teamed up with an insurance company to break a Guinness World Record and vaccinate more than 30,000 people in one week.
Surana Sethia Hospital, set the Guiness World record by registering 30,000 people to receive their Covid-19 vaccinations for a week this month.
All of the people who registered were vaccinated on the spot.
The hospital CEO said poor people in India weren’t able to get inoculated, hence the mass vaccination push.
The vaccine drive lasted for 14 days, during which 50,000 people were vaccinated for free, the hospital said.
