““This hotel has ghosts”
The Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool has a special warning for guests who are checking in — beware of its ghosts.
The hotel has a reputation as England’s most haunted hotel.
Guests complain of being pushed or tripped up by rowdy spooks.
Renowned ghost hunter Robert Pulme said: “The place is overrun. I’ve had reports of ghosts pushing people, tripping them up and even shouting at them as they attempt to sleep.”
Guests have seen a wailing woman roaming the corridors. Others say they have spotted couples in olden-day clothing just standing in corners and staring at people.
“Some of the ghosts are loud, shouting and swearing, while others stare and try to freak people out,” Pulme said.
