“Ed Sheeran lookalike gets the girls”
A man who works in a chip shop has revealed that he gets hounded by female admirers everywhere he goes – they believe he is singer Ed Sheeran.
Chris Marks-Burton, 26, said that despite being unable to sing, his ginger locks and beard mean that he gets compared daily to the popular 31-year-old musician.
The doppelganger, who is head fryer at a seaside chip shop, said that he was swamped when he attended one of Ed Sheeran’s gigs.
He even admitted the resemblance has helped him win over female admirers over the years.
Although he is now in a relationship, he said that he used to enjoy flirting on nights out with ‘adoring fans’.
Chris’ likeness to Ed has also seen him become a customer favourite in the chip shop. Chris said: “The customers say ‘it’s Ed Sheeran cooking our food’.”
