“Family eats and robs restaurant”
A Texas family who sat down for a meal at a restaurant didn’t ask for the bill … they pulled out a gun and robbed the restaurant instead.
Police say the family of six went to the Waffle House in North Carolina last Monday and then robbed it.
But they didn’t get far — they were arrested on Wednesday.
Police said the suspects, who did a similar thing in another restaurant a few days before, were part of a family of six who entered the restaurant for a meal before committing the robbery.
After a brief meal, police said, one member drew a handgun and demanded money from the restaurant employees before fleeing to a nearby gas station.
