“Man collects 3,600 cell phones”
A Spanish man with a passion for Nokia phones earned a Guinness World Record by collecting 3,615 unique cell phones.
Wences Palau Fernandez of Barcelona received his first Nokia 3210 for Christmas in 1999, and started collecting them.
He eventually branched out into collecting other brands of phone, and now he has the world’s largest collection of mobile phones.
His collection includes just about every Nokia phone that has ever gone on sale.
Some of the more unusual phones in his collection are the Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cyborg and Padawan versions from the Nokia 3220 Star Wars Episode III collection.
He says his collection will never be complete.
“I will continue to expand it whenever possible,” he said.
