“Dog rings doorbell after 10 days away”
A Florida family’s dog, missing for nearly 10 days, returned home for the holidays and rang her family’s doorbell at 2:30 a.m.
Brooke Comer said her family’s 4-year-old German shepherd, Athena, went missing on Dec. 15, and everyone in the neighborhood tried to find her.
Ten days later, on Christmas morning, Brooke heard her doorbell ring at 2.30 in the morning.
What she saw she described as “a Christmas miracle.”
“She had rung the doorbell herself,” Brooke said.
Brooke uploaded footage of Athena scratching at the door and jumping up on her hind legs to ring the bell.
She said Athena seemed happy to be home.
