“Seal caught napping on hotel floor”
A Netherlands animal rescue group was called out to a seaside hotel when a guest walked into their room to find a gray seal taking a nap.
Rescuers took a call from employees at the Boulevard 17 hotel and “couldn’t believe it at first” when they explained the situation.
Rescuers arrived and confirmed there was a gray seal taking a nap on the floor of the hotel room.
They called for help from the Sea Animal Rescue Team, and the groups worked together to remove the animal from the room.
The seal, “who had become quite grumpy due to his disturbed sleep,” was placed in a basket and relocated to a quieter area of seashore.
