“Lots of banana hats”
A Missouri museum gathered 309 people in banana hats to break a Guinness World Record.
The City Museum in St. Louis broke the record for the most people wearing banana hats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
“We gathered a bunch of friends to set the Guinness World Records title for most people wearing banana hats with 309 participants!” said the museum.
While the participants celebrated their feat, many people online were scratching their heads.
“Why would there be such a stupid category?” one Facebook poster wrote.
“I don’t think the world is lining up to break this record,” said another. “Besides, what use is the hat after the event?”
