“Man buys A-Z of products”
A British man has managed to go to the supermarket and buy 26 items, each starting with a different letter of the alphabet.
Graeme Bowman, 43, set himself the challenge at his local superstore called ASDA and finally achieved success after trying for 13 years, since he always had trouble with the pesky letters X and Z.
Last week Graeme spent up to two hours finding all the right items, starting with Apples for A and Bananas for B.
He had to get creative, finding an “extension cord” for E, because eggs came up as ‘Organic Eggs’.
But the real problems began at the end of the alphabet.
Graeme said: ‘I was very surprised when I discovered a zinkeez toy and I was even more surprised when it came up as that on the receipt.’
Then he became really excited when he found an “X box dock” which gave him his X word.
