“Man pulls ship with teeth”
An Egyptian wrestler has set a world record after pulling a 635,000 kg ship with his teeth.
Ashraf Mahrous, 44, pulled it across the water in Egypt’s Red Sea last Saturday.
Mahrous, well-known as a strongman in Egypt, later pulled two ships weighing just over one million kilograms together.
“God blessed me by being the strongest man in the world,” Mahrous said after the event.
The wrestler said he would contact Guinness World Records to see if he has set a new mark, as the current record is a 557,000 kg ship set in 2018.
In March, Mahrous pulled a train weighing 253,105 kg with a rope in his teeth for nearly 10 metres, and that was formally recognised by Guinness World Records.
