“Who stole the sausages … and from where?”
Bristol residents are baffled as to why hundreds of raw sausages were dumped on a footpath.
Nobody has come out and said their sausages were stolen, and nobody knows why the thief then dumped them on the side of the road.
They have so far survived four nights despite strong winds and rain.
Local residents say they have seen some of the sausages eaten by wildlife over the past couple of days.
Local resident Callum Snow was on his usual walk with his dog when he came across them.
“There was a sack attached to a nearby fence, so maybe somebody stole them from a warehouse, tried to jump the fence, ripped the sack, they’d all fallen out, and then the thieves just ran away.”
Bristol City Council says it is investigating, but they had better hurry — the sausages are starting to go off.
