“Sheep storm supermarket”
A flock of about 50 sheep escaped from their owner and took a shopping trip to a nearby supermarket in Germany.
Security camera footage at the Penny supermarket showed dozens of sheep flooding into the store through the front doors.
They caused chaos inside the store, leaving a trail of destruction and poop in their wake.
Shepherd Dieter Michler said the sheep had broken away from a larger flock.
He said the sheep had been distracted by acorns on the ground in the store’s parking lot, and then went inside in search of more snacks.
He said the sheep were now safely reunited with the rest of the flock.
