“Accident earns $250,000”
A Michigan woman was angry at herself after she accidentally clicked on the wrong number while buying her weekly lottery ticket online.
That wrong click earned her more than $250,000 since she won the jackpot.
The 57-year-old Oakland woman said she mistakenly clicked on 39 instead of 47, but decided to keep it because “my mother always told me: ‘There are no accidents!'” the player said.
“Later that night, I saw an email from the lottery. After I saw how much I’d won, I paced my house for several hours trying to wrap my head around it,” she said.
“My immediate reaction was shock and denial.”
