“Man buys bread, wins $500,000”
A South Carolina man went to the store for a loaf of bread and came home with a scratch-off lottery ticket worth $500,000, or about 16 million baht.
The man said he stopped at the store only to buy bread, but he decided at the last minute to buy a $10 lottery ticket.
He scratched the ticket off when he got home and revealed a $500,000 prize.
“It was surreal,” the man said. “You’re not sure about what you are seeing.”
The winner said he has not yet decided what he will do with his prize money.
