“Cat crashes ballet”
A final scene of a serious ballet performance in Turkey was interrupted when a cat walked onto the stage.
It was during a performance of Romeo and Juliet by the Imperial Russian Ballet Company.
An orange cat wandered right onto the stage during the tragic final scene.
The ginger feline settled beside Romeo as he lay on the stage before playfully tousling the performer’s hair, drawing laughter and applause from the audience.
The dancer playing Juliet even tried dragging the lifeless body of Romeo away from the cat, but still the cat wouldn’t go away.
The cat and dancers received a warm ovation from the crowd at the end of the performance.
