“Man spends 8 hours in portable toilet”
A man spent eight hours inside a portable toilet, all because he wanted to retrieve his bottle of Mountain Dew.
The incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri at a public park where an event was being held.
The man accidentally dropped the bottle into the portable toilet and, rather than letting it go, climbed down into the waste tank to fish it out.
The lid then shut behind him, and he found himself trapped inside with no way to climb back out.
He stayed stuck there overnight, for roughly eight hours, until workers arrived the next morning to remove the portable toilets.
Firefighters had to cut away pieces of the plastic structure to free him, then hosed him down with water from a fire engine to clean him off. He was not seriously hurt.
