“Guinness grab!”
Police in England are investigating a brazen overnight heist in which thieves made off with two entire truckloads of Guinness.
Guinness, Ireland’s famous dark beer known as stout, was stolen from a distribution depot near Liverpool.
The stolen shipment included 800 barrels of stout, worth an estimated 115,000 British pounds, a little over 5 million baht.
That’s about 70,000 pints of beer.
Two men posing as drivers went to the depot late Monday night and drove off in the trucks.
Police are reviewing security footage and searching for the missing trucks, which likely still contain the stolen beer inside.
