“It’s a special date”
An Iowa family just earned a Guinness World Record after discovering that five consecutive generations were all born on September 14th.
It started with great-great-grandfather Wilbur in 1907, straight through to baby Arthur, born in 2025.
The family says the birthdays alternate boy-girl-boy-girl-boy the whole way down.
Fred Harlow, right in the middle of the chain, said, “This is a very unique gift.”
While multiple families have previously achieved the distinction of having four generations share the same birthday, notes that “this is the first time five generations have ever been recorded.
